We are at the age where styles in clothing just become redundant and annoying especially when tight or super baggy is "in". We find we work at home in spurts with liberal rest times between chores and activities...lol. We want our haircuts just easy to take care of more than caring how we look. We find ourselves easily chuckling at the stupidity of choices made by the young and foolish. Yes, we have entered the new dimension of senior adults and it is quite an interesting place.Elizabethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093431478852987540.post-63523535197074054342011-06-07T06:31:50.426-07:002011-06-07T06:31:50.426-07:00Re: Number 5. At a wedding this weekend, the server asked our tale "Would you like another chicken pie?" My mother, gluten free, and unable to eat the pie said: "Well, now, I would, but I can't." Nevermind the server was asking the whole table. Nevermind there was a band playing and the server couldn't hear her. NEvermind the gluten free dishes strewn all over the table, per request of the bride and groom.<br />Nope, she had a 60 second contretemps with the server, because she is GF and she wanted pie, and couldn't have it, and wanted the server to know EXACTLY how that made her feel.<br />I had to intervene. Seriously. <br />My 14 yr old son, who has diabetes and is also GF, was on the other side of me. He just said "No thanks, but the quiche is good, can I have more of that?"<br />SEriously. Age and being a grown up are totally mutually exclusive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
